NEXUSAuto workshops 'the best in France'

Independent garages in the NEXUSAUTO network are among the most recommended in France, according to leading customer review website AlloGarage. Fourteen NEXUSAUTO workshops feature in the newly-published 2018 ‘Best Garages in France’ listing, as voted for by the country’s motorists.

To win a place each garage had to achieve at least 10 published and verified reviews from customers, score an average rating of more than 4 out of 5 and have fewer than 5% negative comments. has been publishing customer reviews since 2007 and lists over 25,000 garages from all over France. The NEXUSAUTO workshop concept was developed and is managed by NEXUS Automotive International (N!), the progressive automotive community.

Claudie Cahart, member of NEXUS and NEXUSAUTO co-ordinator said: “This is a fantastic achievement by each of the garages listed. They have been chosen to be the best of the best by the people that really matter – their customers. It is also a proud moment for the network as a whole, for more than 10% of those judged to be the 2018 Best Garages in France are NEXUSAUTO workshops. As a relative newcomer we have done well to disrupt the market in such a positive way.”

Claudie explained that partnering with AlloGarage was at the heart of NEXUS’s digital strategy for the NEXUSAUTO network.

Garages had for many years delighted customers with their skills and additional services such as courtesy cars, financing and valeting. But they had failed to communicate it. Giving motorists the chance to comment on their experience not only highlighted best practice but also encouraged workshops to do even better, she said.

By joining the network independent garages are able to be listed by AlloGarage, providing the opportunity to raise their Google ranking, as well as gain access to many other NEXUSAUTO services.

The NEXUSAUTO workshops in the 2018 Best Garages in France listing are: Automobile Pneumatique Entretien, in Tomblaine; SAS Aubert Auto, of Ménil-la-Horgne; LD Mecanique Automobile, Montsoué; MaxiMeca, Livron-sur-Drôme; Garage du Nord, Peyrins; Mecabul, Les Angles; Nicolas Rojas, Corbère-les-Cabanes; Garage Martinez, Perpignan; Garage Vsmecapro, Thuir; Auto Moto Services, Osséja; Garage Filloux, Pontpoint; My-Cars, Antibes; FC Auto, Rognonas; and Garage Guyot Autos, of Bédarrides.

Servicesure website gets supercharged as garages join at record rate

With membership sign-ups at record levels, Servicesure Autocentres has supercharged the way it communicates with garages and motorists.

The Servicesure website has been comprehensively revamped and the network has ‘gone social’, launching itself on five social media platforms.

Paul Dineen, Head of Garage Programmes for Servicesure, said: “This is Servicesure going up a gear. We’ve put the consumer experience first; the website is much more motorist friendly, easy to move around and packed with helpful features and interesting information. It’s gone from basic and functional to fully functioning, putting ease of use and convenience at the motorists’ fingertips.

“With Servicesure now on Facebook and Twitter we and our garages can really engage consumers and have a two-way conversation with them.

"We are really well placed to remind drivers this is a national group with a national guarantee that delivers the high standards of work you’d expect from the UK’s fastest growing garage network.

“The objective is to make the experience as simple, quick and stress-free as possible for motorists to find a garage and book their repair, service or MOT. In turn that drives business to the garages who are our members.”

Dineen added: “It’s Servicesure taking a lead in bringing consumers and garages closer together, developing trust and loyalty between the two.

"We recently had our best week ever, interest from garages just keeps growing, although membership is by invitation only to ensure the network as a whole is working to the same quality and business practice standards we insist on and can help them with.”

Features on the website, which is mobile and tablet compatible, include Find a Garage customer reviews, news, details about the Servicesure National Warranty, videos and offers. There’s also a reminder service for MOTs and other garage visits.

The site also has a resource section for garage members, through which they can access, or get information about, the many benefits of being a Servicesure Autocentre.

NEXUS Automotive International (N!) has welcomed two important new members in North America, consolidating its presence in what is now its number one region.

The initial member AUTOMOTIVE DISTRIBUTION THE NETWORK (The NETWORK), which joined N! in July last year, has now been joined in the N! community by AUTOMOTIVE PARTS ASSOCIATES (APA) and VIPAR Heavy Duty.

Gael Escribe, Chief Executive of NEXUS Automotive International, said: “We outlined recently the strategic objective of North America becoming our number one region. With AUTOMOTIVE PARTS ASSOCIATES (APA), VIPAR Heavy Duty and The NETWORK joining as full members, those plans are becoming reality ahead of our initial roadmap. We’re delighted to have three such important members integrated into our fast-growing N! global community.”

AUTOMOTIVE PARTS ASSOCIATES (APA) is a member owned co-operative made up of over 95 independent warehouse distributors and over 375 locations in North America. Its members’ distribution centers in the US and Canada offer a wide assortment of national brand product lines, along with a unique assortment of Import OE brands through its SIPS (Society of Import Parts Specialists) affiliated members, as well as a substantial array of Professionals’ Choice private brand products.

Gary Martin, President and CEO of APA, said: “We are delighted to be joining NEXUS and look forward to working with The NETWORK and VIPAR in developing new and exciting opportunities in the all-important North America market.”

VIPAR Heavy Duty is North America’s leading network of independent aftermarket truck parts distributors, serving its customers from more than 550 locations across the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico and Mexico. In addition to its distributors under the VIPAR Heavy Duty brand, the VIPAR family of companies includes Power Heavy Duty and Global Parts network and as a collective organisation represents over 260 distribution companies with more than 775 locations throughout North America, as well as two brake manufacturing plants and two parts distribution centres.
Chris Baer, Executive Vice-President of VIPAR, said: “VIPAR Heavy Duty is pleased to be a member of NEXUS Automotive International S.A. AUTOMOTIVE DISTRIBUTION NETWORK is the umbrella organisation for three of the premier groups in the US aftermarket - Parts Plus, Independent Auto Parts of America, and Auto Pride.
Its President David Prater said: “The NETWORK has enjoyed its brief association with NEXUS Automotive International through meetings with their worldwide partners. The ability to share resources and information has proven valuable as the global aftermarket continues to shrink. From the onset, we saw N! as an opportunity to formalise some new relationships and begin working closer together on an international level. We are extremely excited that VIPAR Heavy Duty and APA have joined us a members.”

Gaël Escribe added: “The integration of The NETWORK, APA and VIPAR is 100% in line with the N! commitment to provide our partners with a global solution, and it extends at the same time the scale of business opportunities that will be at stake as from April 1st.”
